Most of these cats have either been with us since birth or since they were about 12 weeks old. This is the only home they've ever known. We ask that new owners give it some time for the Ragdoll to adjust to his or her new surroundings. It's not going to happen instantly.
If after a suitable amount of time has passed and the new owner feels the Ragdoll just isn't happy, the Ragdoll may be returned for a full refund. It sometimes happens that the best place for the cat is here.
New owners must be able to spend quality bonding time with the adult and not allow other animals or children to stress the cat.
Not all cat lovers are cat knowledgeable. Bone up on Cats 101 by reading some really good books on cat behavior. Pam Johnson Bennett has some fantastic books.
Remember that your cats are carnivores! They need meat in their diets. Become a label reader. Feed a high quality dry food along with canned food.
Keep the water bowls fresh.
Rule of thumb on litterboxes: One per cat plus an extra. So even if you have only one cat, have two litter boxes.
We do not ship our cats or kittens.
Please make an appointment to meet the adult if you are interested. We must make sure this is a good match for both humans and cats!
All of our cats are FeLV/FIV negative guaranteed
Please make sure you are ready and willing to bring these cats into your lives.
If you travel frequently or work long hours and have little time to actually spend with the cat, a Ragdoll is not what you want.
Ragdolls are very people oriented. They don't do well being left alone for long periods of time.
We ask all new owners to consider hiring a pet sitter to look in on their Ragdoll rather than board the cat when they leave on a vacation.
New vaccination protocol suggests boosters every three years, but don't neglect those yearly check ups!
Find a vet that you not only like but that your cat likes, too!
Cats are not "little dogs" Illness in cats cannot always be treated in the same way.
Call or e-mail for adults who may be available. We have spent the last year downsizing our cattery and plan to phase out our breeding program over the next year. We will have a couple of adults that we will be wanting to place in good, quality, forever pet homes. We're really hoping that we can place these cats with people that we already know but are willing to place them with someone who can show us that they will be able to take good care of them.
Although we realize that "life happens", please think carefully before bringing into your life any pet. The are not inanimate objects and do require your attention and sometimes, vet care. Vet care is not inexpensive. Do you travel frequently? A Ragdoll is not for you. They need and require a lot of human interaction and will get extremely lonely and bored if left alone too much. A bored and lonely cat can and will get into all sorts of trouble. You may find unpleasant surprises left in unacceptable places and other bad habits may also get started.
Unless otherwise noted, adults up to the age of 2 are priced at $250. This covers their spay/neuter, updated shots, veterinary exam, etc.
If we are selling two together , we take $50 off each cat.
Cats older than 2 are priced between $150 and $175.
Most of our adults need to be in adult only homes, but it really depends on the child. An older child may be acceptable, but not toddlers, babies and very rambunctious, loud children. We don't want to offend anyone with kids, but our Ragdolls haven't been raised with them so they're not used to their activity and noise levels. If you desire an older Ragdoll and have kids, find a breeder who has children in the home.

Gigi has gone to live with Deborah.

Kadee will be going to live with Terry and Celia in May.
